Hi-Line are a large independent firm of arborists, who have been expanding since 1998 and currently employ about 150 staff. Based near Exeter, they cover the South West providing tree cutting and related services to a wide range of Commercial, Domestic and Utility clients. It's evident from Hugh Griffiths' (Owner and Managing Director since Hi-Line's inception) happy work force that his philosophy of "happy, well motivated and caring staff ultimately results in a high quality service for our clients," is working.
Hi-Line have major contracts with Western Power Distribution, The National Trust, Devon County Council and many other commercial and public sector organisations. These, as well as the services they provide private individuals, all promote Hugh's "family-run" business values.
Hi-Line also provide a Nationwide tree cutting service, covering England, Wales and Scotland. They manage 40 strategically located firms of tree surgeons, which are all carefully selected to ensure a high quality service is maintained.
The company's "can-do" attitude is like my own, with the challenges I face with the lack of training freedom in the UK I have with my main event, Sport Pistol. Hi-Line promote the importance of safety and high professionalism, which are two other values that are very dear to me. I'm very proud to be sponsored by Hi-Line, who are helping me fuel my "Road to Rio."
